From cinemas and churches, to healthcare facilities and stadiums, projects across the length and breadth of the country are choosing Alloyfold seating, not just because our chairs are great quality, but because they change lives - supporting the charitable heart of Pathway. We’ve pulled together a few more fast facts.
Showstopper: Did you know, when you head to one of the hottest new venues to hit Christchurch, Silky Otter Cinemas at The Landing in Wigram, you’ll be reclining on some of the comfiest seats in town. Custom designed Alloyfold seating that is!
Luxe library: Did you know that when you take a seat at Wellington’s award-winning National Library Auditorium designed by Warren & Mahoney, you’ll be seated in some of those life-changing seats.
Heart and soul: Did you know that the magnificent new All Souls Anglican Church, rebuilt after the Canterbury earthquakes, received a 2020 Canterbury Architect Award. Another project that was bestowed with our popular Church chair.
Grand Design: Did you know that divine $5 million copper house in Cass Bay that featured on the finale of Grand Designs 2020 with its hidden cinema and bar was packed with, you guessed it, Alloyfold cinema seating!
Stadium with style: Did you know that when you head down to Dunedin’s Forsyth Barr Stadium for a big game, you’ll be in fine company, with 18,000 of Alloyfold’s Albany stadium chairs taking pride of place. Fun fact, the seat colours were selected to ensure the maximum reflection of light to enhance the natural turf growth and create favourable results for television media regardless of spectator numbers.
Pictured: The Cass Bay 'Copper House' near Lyttelton was designed by architect Michael O'Sullivan and featured on Grand Designs NZ, with its strong sculptural form and copper cladding and roofing. Our favourite feature is, of course, the Alloyfold seating in the home cinema!
